Unlock the Power of LumenIZE™—Arcadia Reptile introduces the first app-controlled T5 UV-B and JungleDawn-LED Bar systems, combining precise control with maximum energy efficiency. Your key to bespoke reptile lighting and advancing animal welfare.
Provide smooth energy rich solar cycles, emulate the seasons and look forwards to seeing energy savings when compared to fixed voltage options.
Bluetooth enabled, fully dimmable UV-B and LED lamps, IP65 water resistance, Easy lamp changes, internal battery, control up to 50 named devices, Save energy= up to 30% average energy reduction via dimming.
The LumenIZE ProT5 will allow you to provide wild-like levels of bioavailable UV energy, over the terrestrial UV and visible spectrum, and then having total control of how it does so through the simulation of naturalistic solar cycles.
The LumenIZE version of the globally trusted Jungle Dawn-LED bar has been redesigned to increase light production and therefore PAR. As a result, you can trust Arcadia Reptile LumenIZE JungleDawn-LED Bar to deliver unparalleled plant growth results whilst also greatly brightening a cage, being inspiring to natural basking and providing usable energy for plants and animals.
The LumenIZE enabled devices offer water resistance to the IP65 standard and full, totally smooth dimming control via the Arcadia Reptile LumenIZE app. Create an energy rich, vibrant energy provision for your plants and animals and have exact control over each lamp by name.
LumenIZE enabled products store programming within each lamp and backs this up with a small exchangeable battery. If a power cut happens, the memory within each bar is maintained. When the power is restored, the lamp will illuminate/ or not at the correct part of its programming. Arcadia Reptile JungleDawn-LED Bar with LumenIZE control can be linked to other LumenIZE LED Bars and LumenIZE enabled ProT5 UV-B systems.
I love the idea of LumenIZE but there are definitely things that need fixing and improving. It’d be nice to have a factory reset button on the app. Having to do the off 3 seconds, on 1 second, off 3 seconds three times via the cable’s switch is a pain and not ideal when you have an animal in the vivarium. In general the issue of flashing lights is common - if you’re messing with schedules even if it’s for a charge at 8pm when it’s 8am - the light goes mad with flashing and flickering. I’ve also found that half the time the app doesn’t actually save my settings. For example I’ll set the light to go to 0% at 8:30pm and even click ‘copy decide’ to try to make sure it saves that change. But if I go into another light then back to the one I changed - it’ll say 100% again instead of 0. The only way I’ve been able to get changes to stick is to bookend my settings (ex setting 8:31 to 0% - that one goes back to 100% but my 8:30 setting will stay at 0% so I can then delete the 8:31 slot).Another issue which has to do with the flashing is I notice instead of a gradual increase, my UV bar seems to switch on to 100% initially then dims back down to gradually increase over the hour I set, obviously it turning on at 100% (I have it set to go from 0-100 over an hour) is not ideal. I even tried setting it to go from 0 to 1% and it still flashes on to 100% initially. It’d be nice to create schedules ‘offline’ too so the lights aren’t affected as you experiment. And also a calendar to automatically create seasons. I do love the idea of this app but it definitely needs more work and improving. Especially with how much Arcadia advertises the LumenIZE system, the app and programming really needs some attention.
Poor Start

Awesome LED lamp have been waiting a long time for a lamp like this but the app is awful. It clearly hasn’t been tested properly for iPhone: • Doesn’t fit properly on the screen and the Arcadia logo disappears behind the Dynamic Island • Can’t go back when looking at data manager due to the above issue - the back arrow at the top left doesn’t work. • Can’t delete time slots. I wished I had just bought the original Jungle Dawn bar until this app has been properly tested.
An Amateurish Attempt

Where to even start. Firstly the apps poor layout and scaling. A “Device Manager” that only shows 2 devices at a time in a tiny window that you have to awkwardly scroll through. A timings window that you inadvertently adjust whenever you scroll through your various time slots. And annoyingly both issues are made worse by the more devices and slots you have. In terms of adjusting the timeslots, any adjustment made to any timeslot whether it be ahead or before your current one will cause the device to respond immediately. So dont try make any adjustments to the schedule whilst your animal is trying to sleep or go about their nightly business. It fails in its main function of light management as the devices will randomly turn on or off. Sometimes they become undiscoverable and even better sometimes they do both and you cannot readjust until you have turned the device off and on again. The power switch is located right by the plug so may be rather inconvenient in some setups. This has prompted me to install a smart plug to turn my “smart” lights off and on again so i can control them once again. (All of which you pay a premium for)As for security. Well the devices are accessible to anyone with this app so lets hope you dont have any herp loving neighbours. The lock button seemingly does nothing as any device can make adjustments to the schedule. Im not sure if i should even bother addressing the other “features”. An Animal Records page which is just a notepad, handy if you have just one animal i guess. It also features a Data Manager, which is just a single graph representing the time slots you set for all those who want to see what they just inputted in graph format, i guess.
Works fine!

There are some small things like not being able to click the back button when on data manager but I’ve had the app for a few months now and all of my lights except one which was faulty have worked fine. The timing it a little out by a few minutes after a while but nothing extreme. I do think it should have had more testing before putting it out!
Fix some known bugs.
